An observation about The Bhagavad Gita, Bible and other Holy books

Though out my life I have been interested in religion.  Who's right?  Who's going to heaven?  Is there a heaven?  How did we end up with so many different view points?    I have read a lot of the Bible and studied ancient religions in college.  I have read many books and articles on all sorts of different view points.

Here is my personal observation.  They all say the same thing, basically.  Do the right thing by your fellow human beings, act in a selfless manner, feed the hungry, feed your soul and be good to your mother.   If everyone cared less about what book others were reading and really practiced the true nature of any of these books, including tolerance and non-judgement of others, we would have more love and less war.

I don't care what you call your higher spirit.  I care that you follow the teaching of that book and be kind to others.  Hatred is created through ignorance so open your minds and some books.  Get educated, smile at your neighbor, feed someone hungry and spend 10 minutes thanking your parents (or whomever gave you guidance, love and compassion) for the love and support you received growing up.

Take some accountability for your own actions and forgive someone today.  You'll feel better, they will feel better and maybe, just maybe, one less person will do harm to someone else today.

Love and Peace My Friends!
